As the new sales representative for C³, Pete is excited to use his 25+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing to bring fresh perspective to the C³ team. His work in manufacturing as a manager on the floor and at the regional corporate level, gives him a well-rounded foundation of manufacturing knowledge. Pete knows the full manufacturing cycle and can help solve problems for the guy on the floor and the CEO in the boardroom. When this sales opportunity came up, he was excited to take on the challenge of expanding the client base at C³.

A good fit with the C³ philosophy, Pete believes relationships are what make business move forward. “C³ has a solid team concept and are dedicated to their customers,” Pete said. “I know because I have worked with the C³ team for many years.” He recalled a time over a Thanksgiving holiday where Joe Van De Hey, President of C³ left his hunting stand to attend to a machine. It is that level of commitment and dedication that drew Pete to C³ to continue developing those types of business relationships.

Giving back is an important part of Pete’s work ethic. He tries to do the right thing by the people he works with. He credits former managers and business owners for mentoring him over the years. “When someone older and more successful trusts you to discuss their business, that means something,” Pete said. He knows his mentors encouraged him to do his best and now takes every opportunity to do the same with younger associates.

Pete is happily married to his wife of 35 years and says that may be his greatest accomplishment. He has two adult sons who are married and also has two grandsons. In his spare time, you would find him hunting or fishing. His trophies are a bear and turkey he shot with a bow. Golfing is his passion. Pete has served on the board of Crystal Springs Golf Course for 25 years.
